The Detail
How it works, what you get, and who's behind it. One page, no fluff.
How It Works
From first call to reports on demand. A managed engagement, not a software rollout.
Share your existing suitability reports, compliance templates, and example output. We study your firm's language, structure, and standards. No software to install.
We configure Report Forge, our proprietary AI documentation engine, to your firm. We set up your data sources - integrations where possible, uploads where practical - along with compliance requirements, tone of voice, and document structure. You review and approve before anything goes live.
Generate bespoke suitability reports from your live data whenever you need them. Each report is delivered through your branded portal, ready for your client to review and sign via DocuSign.
This is a proper service. Not a login and a support ticket. We build your documents, configure your engine, brand your portal, and pair you with a consultant who knows your firm by name. It is premium, and it is managed.
But it will still save your firm thousands in administrative costs, and unlock tens of thousands in capacity. The maths isn't complicated. A suitability report that takes half a day to write takes under two minutes. Multiply that across your caseload and the time you get back pays for the service many times over.
Per report, versus half a day manually
Saved in admin costs per year
Unlocked in adviser capacity
Bespoke to your firm's structure and tone
Additional software for your team to learn
True for the low-hanging fruit. Meeting recording, transcription, summarisation. That's solved. And true for firms that spend big on upfront development to build something bespoke. But reports off the shelf? They leave something to be desired.
The average suitability report takes 3–6 hours to produce manually. AI can reduce that to minutes. But the output from generic tools doesn't read like your firm wrote it. It reads like a machine did. And for an FCA-authorised firm, “close enough” isn't close enough.
That's the SaaS model. It works for Spotify. It doesn't work for regulated financial advice. We've learned that from building SaaS. We think we can do better. Much better.

The Problem With Off The Shelf
The market is flooded with AI tools promising to revolutionise your practice. The reality? Most of them require you to become the integrator, the tester, the prompt engineer, and the compliance reviewer. You end up spending more time configuring the tool than you save using it.
Then there's the security question. Client data pasted into browser-based AI tools. No audit trail. No data processing agreement. No control over where information is stored or whether it's being used to train models. For an FCA-authorised firm, that's not a grey area. It's a risk.
We say this from a position of having built the off-the-shelf tech. We know its limits. Gild exists because we've learned from SaaS and we know regulated firms deserve better.
Suitability reports produced to your firm’s exact standards. Your structure, your compliance language, your tone. Not templates filled in. Bespoke documents, every time.
Our proprietary AI documentation engine generates reports from your live data, on demand. Built on AWS with AI processing through Amazon Bedrock. Your client data stays ringfenced, encrypted, and never used for model training. Enterprise-grade infrastructure, not a side-of-desk experiment. We handle the technical side entirely. You just instruct us.
A hosted document portal on your domain. Your logo, your colours. Clients review reports and sign via DocuSign. Version history and audit trail built in.
We integrate with your CRM, platforms, and back-office systems where we can. But Report Forge also works with uploaded data - CSV, PDF, or manual entry. No integration required to get started. Provide your data however suits your firm.
We design and build a website for your firm that matches your documentation branding. One consistent identity across everything your clients see.
A real person, not a support ticket. Direct chat, a phone number, and meeting bookings. All accessible from your portal. We become part of your operation.
We endeavour to integrate with the systems your firm already uses. But Report Forge works just as well with uploaded data. No integration is required to get started.
Provide your data however suits your firm.
Sign up, figure it out, raise a ticket if something breaks. That's the SaaS model. It works for Spotify. It works for WealthSpace. But we've learned from building SaaS that it doesn't work for regulated financial advice. Not if you want to do it properly.
Gild onboards in cohorts. Every two months, a small group of firms begins a managed onboarding. We study your existing reports, configure your templates, set up your data sources, build your portal, and get you producing before the next cohort begins. You are never left to figure it out on your own.
This is deliberate. It means we can give every firm the attention it deserves. It means your onboarding is done properly, not rushed. And it means by the time you go live, the system is configured to your firm, not the other way around.
Why It's Better For You
By the time your onboarding is complete, your templates are approved, your data sources are configured, and your portal is branded. You don’t go live until everything works.
Your consultant knows your firm, your templates, and your clients. When you call, they pick up. When something needs changing, they change it. No queue.
The managed onboarding means we can’t over-promise. If we say your reports will match your standards, they will, because we’ve built and tested them before you go live.
We could take on more. We deliberately don't. Every firm that works with Gild gets a bespoke onboarding, a dedicated consultant, and templates configured to their exact standards. That takes time and attention, and we refuse to dilute it.
100 firms means we know every client by name. It means your consultant knows your firm as well as you do. It means when you call, someone picks up. This is the service model we believe in, and the only one we're willing to put our name to.
The Team

I've spent two and a half years at the forefront of AI technology in financial advice, building tools for advisers. The message I've heard loud and clear, from advisers, not from those with a vested interest in the wider ecosystem, is this:
“I acknowledge AI is a thing. I know it needs to be co-opted. But give me a bloody human-managed service. Take it off my desk.”
Will AI replace advisers? I don't have a crystal ball. But what I do know is that the advice firms I work with don't want another platform to learn. They want someone they trust to handle it, the same way their clients trust them to handle their money.
That's why Gild exists. We use cutting-edge AI, our proprietary Report Forge engine, but we do all the technical work for you. Your firm gets a dedicated consultant, direct chat, a phone number. A human at the other end.
Your time is worth more than learning another tool. Get it done.
